Afghan Church (The Church of St. John The Evangelist)
Located at Navy Nagar, Colaba, the Church was built to commerate the dead of the dissaterous defeat in the First Afghan War 1838.
Cuffe Parade
Is the southern most part of city, Cuffe Parade is built on 75000 sq. mtrs. of reclaimed land, it is here the first skyscrapers came in India with many structures 30 floors and above and known as Mnhattan of Mumbai. The World Trade Centre (35 floors) is also located here.
The Cathedral of the Holy Name
Situated across Colaba Causeway is the seat of the Archbishop of Bombay

Rajabai Tower
(Modeled on Big Ben clock tower of London, Rajabai Tower is located in the Fort campus of Mumbai University, the construction of the tower was completed in 1878)
Bombay High Court
Coincidently still known as the Bombay High Court, located next to Mumbai University, The Bombay High Court was established on 14th August 1862, the first sitting in the existing building was held in 1879.

Founded in 1935 and originaly based at Calcutta (Kolkata) was permanently moved to Bombay (Mumbai) in 1937.
Bombay Stock Exchange
Dalal Street the First Stock Exchange of Asia established as 'Native Share & Stock Brokers' Association' in 1875.
Flora Fountain
Located at Fort junction and hub of the business district built in 1864 is fusion of water, architecture and sculpture
Book Lovers Point
(I have named it for namesake) On the pavements at Flora Fontain outside American Express Bank at one Junction and outside Central Telegraph Office (if the Corporation staff have not chased them away) one can find a varied collection of books on every subjects, many collectors pieces and occassionally some of emotional value or some of antique value.
Strand Book Stall
Located at Sir Phirojshah Mehta Road, in Fort has a wide collection of books, books for every type of readers a collection carefully nurtured with experience of over 60 years.
National Centre for the Performing Arts (NCPA)
Home of Symphony Orchestra of India, In addition to Tata Theatre and 4 other theatres for permorming arts of various capacities also houses Art Galleries, Creative Art & Craft Centres, Archivial material on arts, performing arts and sound the centre is built on 32,000 sq. mtrs. of reclaimed land at Nariman Point.

Built in 1887 a historic Railway Station is a UNESCO World Heritage Site

Bhendi Bazaar
further north of Crawford Market residents are predominantely mix of various Muslim communities, Chor Bazaar one of the largest flea market in India is in the vicinity and is famous for vintage and antique items.
Mumba Devi Temple
Built in 1675 Mumba Devi is patron Godess of the Agri's and Koli's the original inhabitants of Mumbai, Mumba is derived from the Sanskrit ' Maha Amba'. The name of 'Mumbai' is derived from 'Mumba ai' 'ai' means mother in Marathi the local language.
Bhuleshwar
Bhuleshwar has some 100 Temples, one can also find artefacts selling hand crafted marble and granite statues.
Jijamata Udyaan
Formerly known as Rani Bagh or Victoria Gardens is one of the first zoo in India it was laid out in 1861 and also houses the Dr. Bhau Daji Lad Museum within its campus.

Established as Central Museum of Natural History, Economy, Geology, Industry and Arts was the first museum in Bombay in 1855.
Banganga
Walekshwar, Malabar Hill
The legend goes when Lord Rama overcome by fatigue & thirst in search of his wife Sita asked Laxman to fetch some water with sea and rocks all around and no site of fresh water he finally shot an arrow (ban) into the ground and water gushed from the ground. It is said that it created a tributary to the Ganga flowing thousands of miles to the north of India, hence the name Banganga, Ganga created from ban (arrow)
